Hi! Angela Fehr here to tell you that the best part of being on the Just Imagine design team is getting new punches in my mailbox every month! Each punch has such intricate detail and there's so much variety and of course the templates and base plates add even more versatility.
Today I am sharing two projects that demonstrate how versatile the punches can be, no matter your papercrafting style! For both projects I used the punches "naked" – without a base plate or template – making border strips that complemented my projects.
My first card is a vintage elegant style. Punch #903 adds a pretty lacy border without having to add actual lace. I like the patterned paper contrasted against the other, bolder patterns. The stamps are from Unity Stamp Co. and the paper is from Tim Holtz, October Afternoon and My Mind's Eye.
Layers always say "shabby chic" to me! What about you?
My second card is a more contemporary, fun style.
For this one the borders are punched using punches #307, 903 and 905. I love the way they point to the stamped flowers and the fun colours that make me think of summer!

Love these cards. So fun and I think the 2nd card is my fav, it is so cheery and bright , but then I really like the 1st one as well. Hmm… a hard choice for sure. Really like them both.
