Giving some punch to a layout

Hi there, Valerie here! I was working on a layout recently that I felt needed just an extra punch of something – but I couldn't figure out what it needed so I put it to the side. When I received my lattice die in my design team box, I just knew that it would be the prefect tool to make that extra something that my layout needed! I also used some the two-toned Rainbow paper that Just Imagine crafts carries to cut the lattice out with my Bigshot. Here's the layout I made of my daughter using the lattice die.

The pictures just seemed to blend in to all the strong colors of the papers and embellishments until I used the diecut lattice pieces in back of them! I diecut 2 lattice pieces and then layered them one on top of the other and placed the pictures on top of the seam to hide it

I hope this inspires you to try the lattice die on your layouts!! By the way – the lattice die is compatible with  most major Table Top Machines - Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Wizard, Revolution, Big Kick - and the frames match an A2 card face exactly at 4-1/4” x 5-1/2”!! Have fun creating!!

Rockin’ layout, Valerie! You’re right, the lattice does provide a break from the pattern & colour of the rest of the layout!
