Punch 307

A {Little} Outside of the Box

'Crazy doesn't just Run in this Family…'

CRAZY1
This past weekend my Ma&I took a Mixed Media Class…it was a BLAST! I wanted to share one very simple, yet very striking, technique we learned – Molding {Modelling} Compound! I LOVE layers, they just seem to add so much detail to a page, and the Molding Compound definitely adds a different type of layer!  Using Kreaxions Punch #307 I {randomly} punched a thick piece of cardstock to make a template. I attached my three bottom layers of my layout {after sanding and distressing}, as well as, the pictures of my Crazy Niece and then starting applying the Molding Compound.  I put my Punched template randomly over the layout and applied the compound with a {artist} spatula…then waited for it to dry {a while – be careful with a heat gun, it will make the compound bubble}.  Afterwards I ran my INKED finger over the dried compound to give it some detail, {technique shows up best in the lower left-hand corner…and in the 'a' in 'crazy'…and even better in real life}.  I hope this opens up some new doors for some favourite Scrappy Supplies!

Happy Scrapping!
