Welcome to this months GDT Karan Gerber

Karangerber head shot

Hello
fellow scrappers, my name is Karan Gerber, and I reside in Sebringville,
Ontario.  I live here with my hubby Glenn and our two boys, Elijah (16)  and
Galen(13).  My family is the main source of my inspiration and you will often
see their smiling faces adorning my projects.

My love for this hobby started over 14 years ago and I can say I am totally
addicted!  I love to work with double page layouts, cards, canvas and mini
albums.  I enjoy finding a unique way to work with embellishments and you will
often see many layers to my work. Distressing, sewing, ink, mist and paint are
just some of the added details I like to play with.  My workshops are often
filled with techniques and great ideas to bring to your own creations and I look
forward to seeing your creativity.

I am very excited to have been asked by Bev to be a Guest Designer here at Just Image,
and I look forward to inspiring you!

Happy Sunday to all my crafting girlfriends.  I am here today as a Guest Designer for Kreaxions Punches(Just Imagine Crafts) My friend Bev asked me if i might be interested in doing a GDT spot for Kreaxions and i have never heard of, or tried the punches and cutters out, so here I am to show you my creations with Kreaxions!
Using the Beautiful Moments line from Carta Bella and tools from Kreaxions I created this. First of all, they have a pretty amazing circle cutter, i have to admit, i often head to my punches ( which go up to 3") and anything larger, i pull out my cricut.  It was kinda nice to not have to drag all that out and just grab this hand tool.

all the circles for my trees were cut from 3 3/4" down to 1", the circle cutter did an amzaing job on this heavyweight cardstock paper. I distressed them then inked them using Honey Mixed Media Ink.

I layered all the circles using foam adhesive to add dimemsion.
I received the circle cutter (awesome cutter) and the Punch #904 and using guide C i was able to create this border. I added some pearls from my collection to add detail!Inked edges with Honey Ink-Donna Salazar.
Using Guide A, i was able to add a beautiful corner to each corner of my background paper.
Be sure and drop on by Kreaxions and browse their punches and the circle cutter, i know you will want to have this tool in your collection!
Happy Scrapping!     Karan GDT
