Card Making

The Fancy Banners

Banners are all the rage on cards and on scrapbook layouts.  One of my favorite techniques to do with my Kreaxions punches is to use a single punch to create banners.

I used punch #305.  My color combo is very simple, yellow and black.  Most of the punches would actually work for banners but I picked this one for my card today.

All I did was to take a piece of black cardstock.  I inserted the paper into my punch as far as it would go and I did one punch.  I then cut on each side of the punched design to make a strip of cardstock with a punched edge on the bottom.  I did turn down the top edge over my very thin strip of cardstock I had cut to resemble ribbon.
