Terrifically Thrilling Thursday

Hi .. I am really excited to share what I have been doing with the floral Kreaxions Punch #603. Why just use it by itself. Why not double layer it and then put about 6 of them together on a disc to make a beautiful medium side flower cluster. Here is what I came up with.

So each one is double coloured and altered spacing when put together. Mount them on a disc and what a great clustered medium size flower. I even glimmer misted one to see what it would look like. So many options of colour this way. Here is my finished clustered flower on my project this week. An Easter Basket.

For the base of the basket I used the Kreaxions star and punched with Kreaxions Punch #913 with insert C.

For the basket I used a strip about 5" x 6" est. and punched the border on the top edge with Kreaxions Punch # 904. On the bottom edge I scored it about 3/8"  and added slits from edge to scored edge so it would fold into cylinder shape. Glue the edges of the cylinder closed. Cut 2 – 1 3/4" circles using of course the Kreaxions Circle Cutter… one goes on the bottom of the cylinder and the other inside.. to secure it.

Cut a strip about 7" and adjust it to your basket size. Secure it with brads.

For the finishing touches… add the beautiful floral cluster to one side of the handle and a tag tied on with  ribbon on the other side. Now that you are finished .. it is perfect for that easter creme egg for the grandkids. Now I just need to make 3 more all different colours.

Here is my finished Easter Basket from a different angle.

Hope you enjoyed this and hope to see you again next week….. hugs Bev
