Border punches aren't just for girly pages!  Even this "daisy" punch (4-in-1 punch 902) looks boyish when used the right way.   (and of course I used the every handy Circle Cutter for my circle!)

and as always, don't forget about the great "left overs" when you're done punching!  I used them on this LO in the upper and lower corners.
