Creating Pattern Paper with Punches

Hi everyone! Its Wendy and I'm back today to share a card that I used punches to create my own pattern paper. I used the Kreaxions Punch #606 Goldfish punch but any of the punches in the store would make a fabulous designs!

Fish punch card

To create the card, I punched 26 fish from a dark blue cardstock. After I had a nice pile of punched fish, it was time to start creating a design. I played around with creating lines of fish. I tried alternating the direction of the fish, but the pattern I settled for called for a cluster of three fish. Once I had my pieces all laid out on my cardbase I began glueing them down with adhesive.

I stamped a "happy fathers day" sentiment and cut it out with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter. To finish off the card, I added a bit of vellum, netting and embroidery floss.
