Scrapbooking

Christmas in July!

It’s never a bad time to work on Christmas pages!  This page is about my family and some of my
cousins in 1963.

Christmas 1963 R1

I started with a sketch
by Kristine Davidson for My Scraps & More which had a large circle on
it.  I cut a 10” circle (using the most
AMAZING Kreaxions Circle Cutter) from a piece of 2-sided paper.  Then I used Kreaxions Stencil A to draw the
guidelines and Kreaxions Punch #312 with the 6.8 cm Positioning Parts to create
my edges.

Christmas 1963 Punching

After spraying the background
with some Glimmer Mist, I cut the four corners with Kreaxions Punch #914 and
Template B.  I removed the template to do
the other punching on the background. I
cut a star using the Kreaxions Star Template and added some of the cut-away stars
from the circle to decorate the star.

Christmas 1963 Punching 2

I
used gold Alcohol Ink to edge everything (like you would use ink).  I finished off the punched areas by adding
some red stickles to the centers of the stars and the holly berries.

Here are the products I used –

914

Star Stencil
Stencils

I hope this page inspires you to start your
own Christmas projects early!  Merry
Christmas and Happy Punching!  Ginni Gass
