Butterfly Graduation Card

Once again I’m
sharing a graduation card.  It’s
definitely that time of year!  Today’s
card is much more feminine and would work with any theme.  This time my inspiration came from a Pinterest post by RichardAdriana Romero. Don't forget that Just Imagine/Kreaxions has THREE Pinterest pages!  You can check out the Design Team Page here - Just Imagine/Kreaxions Design Team on Pinterest.   This Pinterest page focuses on the wonderful Kreaxions Circle Cutter .  And this Pinterest page shares projects not posted on this blog.  Here's today's card –
Butterfly Card Front R

I
started with a 5 x 6.5 inch base.  Then I
cut a 4.5 x 6 inch piece from the black glitter paper and punched the four
corners with Kreaxions Punch #916 with Template C.  I wanted my border to have a pretty edge so I
used Template A on both sides.  I used
the cut-away pieces on the inside of the card.

Butterfly Card Inside R

The
butterfly is a die from the Just Imagine/Kreaxions store (Butterfly Die) using Sparkle Duo paper from
the Just Imagine/Kreaxions store as well.
Did you know we sold paper?  We DO!

Next
I embossed the butterfly die cut and some white glitter with my Cuttlebug and 2
different dies.  Then I punched some smaller
butterflies using Kreaxions #604.  It was
easy to punch through the embossed paper using the Kreaxions Punch Mate

To
finish the card I added some of the cut away pieces around the edges of my
sentiment and the corners of the front of the card.  I cut up a sentiment sticker and double
matted them for the inside of the card.  I
also added some Stickles to enhance the embossing.

Other Materials Used – Card
Base – Recollections; Maroon Glitter Paper – Kreaxions; Black Glitter Paper, Sentiment
Sticker – Colorbok; Embosser –
Cuttlebug; Stickles by Ranger

Even though this card took a lot of steps, it was really
quite easy to create!  Happy
Punching!  Ginni Gass
